Year 4 of the Longtze European Tour, the show is going on.
The Longtze Premier European Tour is a series of events organized with the aim of promoting the Longtze Premier Class and its participants, by establishing a varied programme of events across Europe.
Afer the huge success of the 2012 edition, the Longtze European Tour 2012 will take place in the same three geographical regions: the Alps Region (Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria, France), the West region (France, UK) and the Med region (Italy, France, Spain).
More details on each regatta will be provided in the Yachtclub (notice of race, inscription details....).
Three distinct trophies are organized:
The ranking for each trophy is established from the 4 best results from the trophy’s region, in addition to the best result from each of the other two regions: in total, 6 events are taken into account.
By way of illustration, the ranking of the Alps Trophy is calculated by applying, for each competitor, his 4 best results from the Alps region, his best result from the West region and his best result from the Med region. By best result, we refer to the events in which he scored the most points.
The ranking is established at the close of the last event, and the trophies awarded annually, on the basis of total points earned.
The official skipper of a championship boat is the designated skipper at time of registration and is on board during each event.
