Class Rules

The construction and the use Longtze Premier in regattas are encompassed by the Longtze Premier Class Rules.

The Longtze Premier Class Rules are intended to produce a fast, innovative racing sport boat, with similar performance, suitable for Longtze Premier Events and/or any event where sportboats are invited.The intention of these rules is to ensure the sportboats are as identical as possible inconstruction, hull shape, weight, weight distribution, equipment, rigging, sail plan and to ensure fair racing.

The set of authorized sails is defined but owners are free to choose their sails designer and maker. The list of equipment authorized on the boat is, for the most part, furnished with the production boat which is, generally speaking, ready to sail and race without any change. The rules defined also the authorized crew weight while racing (314-344kg), the list of security equipment and the policy to control costs.
