Longtze Premier is designed by Steve Thomson, internationally known for creating boats that are “the sleek sports cars of the water”. The boat has the right volume sections for fast upwind sailing in all conditions. Downwind, thanks to the shape associated with light weight and a powerful rig, she will jump early on the surf. The efficient keel lested by a lead bulb draft at 1.8 meters gives a good stability to the boat. Longtze Premier is a secure and easy boat to sail under all conditions.

The price manages to further convince those who have tried the Longtze Premier. A Longtze is sold between 27,500 and 30.900€ (without sails/with racing sails, without VAT) which is 40% less expensive than other boats with similar quality and conception.

In only a few months, the Longtze Premier has seduced more than a few Swiss, German, Belgians and Dutch investors. The airline company Lufthansa, the Kone and Athema companies have been amongst the first to launch into this sporting and media adventure.
During the Asia Boating Award, which rewards the best "players" of sailing each year in Asia, Longtze had received the prize for best "sail racing yacht" 2009 in Asia.

The hull is built in sandwich composite, vacuum in female moulds using Eglass and vinylester resin with a PU foam core. As a result, the hull is stiff, light (300 kg) and strong. The keel consists of a fin reinforced with carbon unis and a hydrodynimacally designed integral lead bulb. The bulb itself weight 227 kg which is 40% of the overall weight of the boat. You can choose from 7 gelcoat colours which combined with the original Longtze Premier design makes your boat very special. |

Sailed with a crew of 3 to 5, with a maximum weight of 344 kgs ( cf class rules) when racing, Longtze Premier benefits from a wide open cockpit with esthetical features such as the colourful spinnaker bag. The deck layout has been intensively tested by China Team members resulting in many improvements such as the central pit control area. The crew is able to hike comfortably and efficiently thanks to the large wings and adjustable footstraps. The deck layout has been optimize in term of accessibility and performance, with the inverted boom vang, the possibility to trim the jib from windward or leeward position and a special 6:1 cascade purchase for the jib's luff tension. The boat is equipped with high quality reference Harken deckware. Thanks to her stability and simplicity, Longtze Premier is easily handled by beginners as well as advanced sailors. |

The boat is powered by a large roached 20.6 sq. m. mainsail rigged on a 11 m. carbon mast, one 13.4 sq. m. code 1 jib and a powerful 58.5 sq. m asymmetric masthead spinnaker rigged on a 2.4 m carbon bowsprit. This makes impressive propulsion balanced by the boat's low gravity point and the width of the hull. A smaller code 3 jib of 7.4 sq. m. comes as an option for strong winds.

The mast is laminated in carbon modulus of 80 GPA cured at 80° C with internal reinforcing pads for the high load cutouts. it comes with two sets of aluminium swept spreaders, which allows to get rid of runners and backstays. The mast is stepped in the base cockpit with a deck collar for maximum stability. The rigging is all Dyform utilising special double acting adjustable turnbuckles.
